Diagnostic Session
Use diagnostic sessions to help us troubleshoot eMRTD reading problems. When enabled, additional diagnostic data is collected and stored on the DocVal Server.

Alternative QR Code for iOS troubleshooting
When to use this QR code?
Some ID cards require a special polling mechanism to be detected on iOS devices. Use this alternative QR code if the iOS app doesn't detect your document at all when using the standard diagnostic session.
Technical details:
- Only works on iOS 16+ devices
- Android devices don't need this parameter (standard diagnostic session works for all documents)
- If you're unsure which QR code to use, start with the standard one
3. Verify Your eMRTD
Perform the chip reading by following the instructions in the app. The app will collect diagnostic data in the background. Need help positioning your phone for NFC? Watch: kinegram.digital DIGITAL SEAL demonstration.
4. Report to Support
When contacting support, provide:
- Date and time of the session
- Error message (if any)
- Document type and country
- Device info (iOS/Android version)

Use diagnostic sessions when experiencing:
- eMRTD reading failures
- Authentication errors
- Performance issues
- Any problems that need remote diagnosis
